My name is Kara French and I've been an avid horsewoman and admirer for 33 years. Throughout my teenage years I was involved in 4H and just about every other thing I could get into with my horse, a Quarter-Arab cross. I also worked for a neighborhood Arabian stable with horses from newborns to retired show horses. Over the years, I have continued to work with horses in a variety of capacities, but most recently it has been as a volunteer for a therapeutic horseback riding center and with rescues, of which I currently own a rescued Appaloosa.

Throughout my experiences with horses, I've had many occasions where transportation was necessary. My involvement with 4H meant transporting to shows, parade events, and drop off locations for trail riding or camping. While, living in a neighborhood with my horse, at times meant transporting to riding lessons or even the vet.

Out of this, the idea formed for a way to transport with the horse's comfort in mind. The criteria being first, the horse isn't traveling with any more than one other at a time so there is more time for providing care and attention while traveling. Second, the transport isn't drawn out with additional time needed to drop off or pick up several horses. And lastly, the equipment provided is clean, comfortable, reliable and safe. I wanted the vehicles used to meet these expectations so, the combination I use for transport is a Ford F150 and Brenderup Apollo. The older of the two is the 2005 F150, and is a very durable truck. The trailer is a 2006 Brenderup Apollo, which provides a balanced, cool, and spacious ride. Additionally, the Apollo has two loading ramps for those occasions when the horse loads forward well, but doesn't unload backward as well. There's no need to concern the horse as it can unload forward.

With all these things being considered, The Comfy Coach was born. We understand it can be difficult finding transportation for your horse you can trust. Let us make a difference. It's your horse's comfort in mind, every time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a great day!
