From our Website: In addition, we host activities for other types of animals, a number of different motorized vehicle sports, and offer our facilities for weddings, receptions, etc. Our sites (both the web and the physical ranch) are growing and changing constantly. Our ranch is located in southwestern Washington State about half way between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. US Hwy 12 cuts through the ranch, giving us great access-wonderful if you are pulling a trailer! We host events and clinics for a variety of equine disciplines. Our facilities are also available for schooling or for lease to those wishing to host their own events, clinics, camps, etc. We have held events for llamas, hounds and other animals, as well as various activities for groups of people. Future plans include expansion into more disciplines and continued emphasis on learning. Our home was built in 1889 by Ken's grandfather, the first to homestead in this valley. We are the third generation to live here and hope to pass the ranch on to the next generations--at this time, generations 4 and 5 also live on the ranch. Hopefully Happ's will be in the family for many years to come. Our "project" as neighbors call it, is slowly coming about. It is a "work in progress" so stop by for a visit and catch up on the latest developments...or pitch in and help on one of our "Happ's Helper Days" and be a part of our growth, joining all of those who call Happ's their home. |
